USDA-Backed Fertilizer Production Expansion
Re-Nuble is transforming food waste into powerful, sustainable fertilizers - now with USDA support.
Powering the Future of U.S. Agriculture with Circular Manufacturing
Re-Nuble is leading the next generation of climate-resilient agriculture by turning local food waste into powerful, sustainable fertilizers and nutrient alternatives.
With support from the USDA Fertilizer Production Expansion Program (FPEP) with a $2M initiative, we’re expanding our production capacity and impact, starting in Rochester, NY.

A few centralized players dominate the U.S. fertilizer industry, rely heavily on imported inputs, and contribute significantly to agricultural emissions.
Fertilizer costs are volatile, and distribution is costly, especially for small and mid-sized farms.
Re-Nuble’s distributed, circular manufacturing model is designed to solve this by:
- Sourcing regionally available food waste
- Processing it into consistent, nutrient-rich fertilizers
- Locating production near key farming and food manufacturing hubs
- Offering affordable, carbon-conscious alternatives to synthetic fertilizers
With this USDA-backed project, we’re scaling our model to reach more producers for more resilient supply chains.
