When We Created, We Thought of You

This past fall, we ran a brief survey and offered a Free AeroGarden to a randomly selected survey participant to show gratitude for taking the time to complete a very important survey for us. We thought it was nice and we certainly hope that Sir Michael (wherever thou may be) did too!

The survey was only 16 questions and though we only had 31 people participate, these were 31 highly engaged surveyors that were aware of our intentions of trying to understand this data. We felt that it was important to truly understand how we can help hobbyists, farmers, and small-mid scale food entrepreneurs grow food using recycled resources such as food waste in a way that doesn't jeopardize the fruits of their labor and can be as effective as existing chemical alternatives. This means that we had to really get at the heart of why it's so darn hard to grow food using only organic ingredients and methods, and how we can help increase the production of healthier food by alleviating these challenges for people. We felt that if we could understand their pain points and develop a solution that will make their lives easier, our goal to make healthier, nutritious food more accessible and affordable for all could be realistically attained.

But first we had to get to know our participants by asking.... Their answers speak for themselves: Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 2.51.17 PM Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 2.50.59 PM Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 3.08.28 PM Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 3.08.21 PM   Much more than how we thought they would be when measured against factors such as, "Price" and "Convenience". Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 3.10.15 PM Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 3.10.22 PM   This was the best finding of all for us. The results, show that values trump price in most cases. In more price sensitive areas, we recognize that people make purchasing decisions based on affordability. However, if we can provide affordability and still produce an effective safe, non-toxic liquid nutrient product that shows comparable results to chemicals than we could really make an impact, creating a win-win, and that's why we started Re-Nuble.

Please join us HERE for our launch tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th on Indiegogo. But, first, here's WHY you should join us!
